Feeding the nation, creating a workplace, shaping the future!  That is the driving force behind the establishment of Egoli Food Basket that came into being in 2006.

Egoli Food Basket owes its existence to a few individuals from the private sector with a strong resolve to effect a difference in the South African Society on a level that addresses the most basic need of mankind, namely to be fed. The idea to make nutritious and totally balanced food available to the needy masses of our poorer and low income communities, has its roots in Gauteng.  An important spin off of our initiative is the creation of employment opportunities.

An array of nutritious food products was developed which is affordable to even the lowest of low income house holds.  Our foods are being manufactured to a high quality standard and are fully balanced.  Each product has a certificate of analysis.

Our products are unique in the way that we have developed our own unique recipies no where else to be found.
